Global Trend Towards Mobile• In 2011, we reached the point at which consumers were spending more time on their mobile devices than on their PCs• By 2013, more people will use mobile phones than PCs to go online, according to Gartner.• 86% of mobile internet users are using their devices whilst watching the TV• Text messaging users send or receive an average of 35 messages per day.• Over half of local searches are performed on mobile devices• On average 2.7 hours per day is spent socialising on mobile devices• 91% of mobile internet is to socialise, compared to 79% on desktops• More people using mobile devices than toothbrushes
