  • 1. Why Ganesha Inspires Us ToBe Creative?PUNEET BHATNAGAR Ganesha as a business leader, doctor, a social activist! There is something about lord Ganesha which inspires a surge of creativity. Heis the favorite god of artists. It’s not just the form, I see some deep creativeprinciples here.Ganesha showed us the prime example of ‘creative advantage’. And this must bethe guiding principle for everyone in business and management.Ganesha says: Constraints are our friends!Constraints put us in a new frame of mind.If everything goes smoothly, no one is thinking about new solutions. Why torock the apple cart? But once we are under pressure, lack of resources, thecreative instincts kick in.
  • 2. In fact, great thinkers create their own constraints in the given problem set.Painters chose a particular color and then paint on that theme. It narrows downtheir choices, but then it makes you try new things! When Ganesha was challenged to go around the world he had biggestconstraints.•The lord himself is not athletic.•He rides a mouse which can’t run fast. So, Ganesha created the creative advantage!Ganesha used the principle of redefining the problem! He reinterpreted the given situation: To me, my parents are my world! And he won the challenge.Whenever you feel the odds are overwhelmingly against you, rememberGanesha! Before delving into the solution, put your creative approach to theproblem itself. You will find great solutions, fitting your own resources. And those solutionswill be ‘game changing’ as well....................................................................................................................Learn to create the creative advantage:Creative Power House: Creativity training for growth and successMumbai: 20th Oct. 2012For more info:http://creacos.com/creative-power-house.htmlpunito@thecreativitymission.com09820003092
