Manly library has a tradition of innovation. For a small library service we love to experiment with new ways that we can engage with our community. The emergence of Library 2.0 was just too tempting for the curious of mind staff at manly and over the past 4 years we have been deploying and experimenting with web 2.0 tools to enhance our service. Today I will focus on our most recent endeavours and outline what has worked and where we will be heading.

- Simple technology (hosted remotely)
- Free or minimal cost (flickr $25 per year)
- New medium for engaging community
- Provides staff with greater control over design and management content.
