  • 1. Ptidej tool suite – Architecture User Interface Meta-model Problem. Provide a sound architecture to model programs and to apply analyses, data conversion algorithms, and third-party programs on the models. Solution. The PADL meta-model (Pattern and Abstract-level Description Language) describes programs. PADL sits on CPL (Common Ptidej Library), which provides basic services, and exports extension points for different parsers and analyses. The PtidejUI framework displays and interacts with models. PtidejUI provides a window managerindependent graphic library (AWT and SWT) and extension points for analyses and extensions. Consequences. 4 parsers: AOL, AspectJ, C++, Java, 4 UI interfaces: Applet, AWT, Eclipse, Swing, and 4 add-ons: Aspects, DRAM, EPI, SAD.
