  • AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DAY CARE CENTER IN EVERY BARANGAY (BDCC), INSTITUTING THEREIN THE TOTAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROTECTION OF CHILDREN REPUBLIC ACT 6972
  • EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 286 Directing National Government Agencies and other concerned agencies to actively support and implement programs on the “Bright Child”
  • Support for the Bright Child Program National Government agencies and other concerned offices are hereby directed to support and implement programs for the Bright Child. The Bright Child refers to the delivery of a one-brand package of interventions on food and nutrition, health early education and psychological programs for young children resulting in their optimum growth and development. Assistance and Support – The CWC/NECCDCC may call upon any or all agencies/bureaus/offices of the government for assistance in the implementation of this Executive Order.

  • Philippine e-Learning Network (PeN) Project
  • The Philippine e-Learning Network (PeN) Project
    • Is a collaborative effort of MFI Foundation and TSSI (Technology Support Services, Inc),
    • It will provide distance learning for the Day Care Service under the Early Childhood Care and Development Program of the DSWD to reach initially 33,344 up to 46,000 Barangay Day Care Centers Nationwide,
    • Increase enrollment from 1.2 Million to 3 Million children (ages 2 yrs to 5 yrs & 11 mons ),
    • To establish, operate, manage and maintain a dedicated Production and Broadcast Center,
    • Through TEACH (Training & Education for the Advancement of Children) , it will conduct the Capital Campaign Program through fund contributions, donations, endowments, sponsorships, partnerships, and annual giving's,
    • Train parents, care-givers, daycare workers, pre-school teachers on proper stimulation and development of children,
    • Integrated health, nutrition, and other needs of children to be part of pre-school program.
