  4. 4. Welcomed 162,614 visitors, 2,329 member families and served more than 12,000 children and adults offsite – a new record!

  6. 6. Opened The Climber and Underland , two vibrant new outdoor play and learning environments.

  10. 10. Surpassed its $1.5 million Play Works Campaign goal for capital projects, raising a total of $1.8 million.
  11. 11. “ I have been very impressed with all of the improvements and new exhibits over the past four years. I also love your focus on play and play and PLAY!” – Museum member
  12. 12. Ensured all families had access to the Museum, welcoming 28 percent of all visitors at no charge.

  14. 14. Connected 171 court-separated children and families for therapeutic visits through the Families Together program.

  16. 16. Expanded its AmeriCorps program to reach more children in underserved neighborhoods, due to funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

  19. 19. Nearly 50 percent of the Museum’s $1.9 million operating budget went to providing services to low-income children and families in need.
