  2. 2. Coined in 2002 by iManage for its popular WorkSite product, Matter Centricity constructs the electronic equivalent of the 1990s paper file for legal matters.
  3. 3. In the 1990s, you could find all the information associated with a legal matter in one paper file, typically a box that had folders separating drafts and lawyer’s notes from pleadings and client documents and correspondence.
