  • 2. Saving a bookmarklet to your iPad requires a little ingenuity …
  • 3. … because unlike a bookmark, abookmarklet is actually a browser tool!
  • 4. Ready to start?
  • 5. To start, pleasevisit ourGettingStarted Guide
  • 6. Step 1. Make sure theBookmarks Bar is visible
  • 7. Tap outof Safari
  • 8. SelectSettings
  • 9. SelectSafari
  • 10. Turn On
  • 11. Bookmarks Bar
  • 12. Step 2. Bookmark the page
  • 13. Tap the link toprepare the page
  • 14. Tap the Action button
  • 15. Select Add Bookmark
  • 16. Select Bookmarks Bar
  • 17. Select Save
  • 18. Step 3. Copy the bookmarklet code
  • 19. Tap the text box until the keyboard shows up.
  • 20. Now tap again andhold down until the magnifying glass appears.
  • 21. Let go
  • 22. ChooseSelect All
  • 23. Select Copy
  • 24. Step 4. Edit the saved bookmark
  • 25. Tap the Bookmarks button
  • 26. Select Edit
  • 27. Select Run ProfessorWord!
  • 28. Step 5. Replace the URL with the bookmarklet code
  • 29. Tap and hold down on the URL until themagnifying glass appears
  • 30. Select All
  • 31. Select Paste
  • 32. Tap out to save
  • 33. That’s it! ProfessorWord is now saved and ready to use!
  • 34. The next time you’re at a websitethat uses words you don’t know …
  • 35. … just select Run ProfessorWord! from your Bookmarks Bar …
  • 36. Select Run ProfessorWord!
  • 37. … and you’ll be able to getdefinitions just by tapping the words!
  • 38. Tap any word to get its definition
