  4. 4. Configuration InitThe init function of PVMail can be used to setup defaultconfigurations for the mail class. Through this tutorial, wewill go over the defaults passed in the init.
  5. 5. Default SenderNormally, the sender has to be applied to the header of anemail before sending an email. Applying a default senderwill ensure that if no sender is set in the header, the emailwill be sent from the supplied email address.
  6. 6. MailerNatively, ProdigyView supports sending mail through php andsmtp. By default using the method PVMail::sendMail will sendan email using the php mail function. But the default can bechanged to send email through SMTP by changing the ‘mailer’value to smtp. PVMail::sendMailSend mail using PHP mail Send email through SMTP function Setting the mailer
