This explains at just looking at the picture the children and mostly adults had a very hard time working in the Factories, at very strict conditions.
4. Sheffield in 1750 was a very peaceful village. The village had a lot of green pastures and farms that men had to look after. The houses in Sheffield were very close together which some women had to live in as domestic workers. However, Sheffield had changed time to time and it developed factories, as you can see in the source it looks very crowed and there are many factories around the area, which children and women had to work in and were no longer domestic workers.
