Successful partnerships will take the form of research training networks, industrial doctorates or joint doctorates. ITN will promote high-quality training of early-stage researchers and doctoral candidates. This training will provide researchers of any nationality with a diversity of skills that will allow them to benefit from enhanced career perspectives in both public and private sectors. The training programmes will address the development and broadening of core research competences, while equipping researchers with a creative mind, an entrepreneurial outlook and innovation skills that will match the future needs of the labour market. It will be open to research and innovation staff at all career levels, from the most junior (post-graduate) to the most senior (management), including also administrative and technical staff.administrative and technical staff. RISE will allow the support of flexible exchanges of highly skilled research and innovation staff between sectors, countries and disciplines.
