This is a Restaurant where the great Orson Wells would have reserved a table for lifetime. He once said:- 'I think it’s important to encourage gluttony in all its formats.'
I, on the other hand, although I love eating, would prefer such a quote: “Gluttony is the source of all our infirmities and the fountain of all our diseases. As fire extinguished by an excess of fuel, so is the natural health of the body destroyed by an intemperate diet.”
I say this with face up front for too much food has brought about diverticulitis and this I can’t bear.

Hofheim is a town of the Land of Hesse 17 km West of Francfort The beer is served in in quantities of ½, 1 or 2 litres !
You‘ll be able to devour a Schnitzel XXL (You can order ½ or ¼ portions – Yeah! Right!) Or a lumberjack steak (Approx. 600 grams – just over 1¼ lb) As a specialty, we offer you the "Bembel of Grauens" a mixture of Bacardi rum & cola drink in a 4 litres glass (The "Bembel des Todes" version is 8 litres)
