2. Rogues are amongst one of the
most played class in World of
Warcraft, and for good reasons.
They are one of the fastest
leveling classes in World of
Warcraft that is able to ambush
their enemies with stealth and
deal massive amount damages in
short periods of time.

3. Unfortunately, the downside to
playing the Rogue class in WoW is
that you’re pretty much limited to
one role only. As a Rogue you have no
healing skills so you won’t be able to
heal your party members, and you
can’t really tank since you can only
wear leather and cloth wears.
So this pretty much puts Rogue in the damage dealing role
only, unless you consider evasion tanking as a role for the
Rogue but that rarely happens.

4. If you’re the type of person who likes to change
your playing style once a while then Rogue is
probably not the most ideal class for you to play
in WoW. But if having only limited responsibility
doesn’t mind then Rogue is a great class to play
and a lot of fun especially During PvP.

5. Rogues in World of Warcraft have a
pretty unique and somewhat
sophisticated combat system that
is different from all the other
classes with the exception of the
Feral Druid in Cat form. They use
energies instead of mana; they
have openers, finishing moves and
even a unique combo point system
that requires a bit of understanding
at first.

6. A good Rogue should know
proper energy management
since if you don’t have energy
you can’t use any of your skills.
Energies do regenerate even
during battles but with
a maximum of 100 energies, one must learn to
spend them efficiently, or else you will have a
huge drop in your DPS.

7. Secondly all Rogues should
learn to use their finishing
moves properly as well since
there are many different
finishing choosing from,
and usually only one or 2 may be performed during
normal mob grinding. Here is how it works; all finishing
moves requires at least 1 combo point to be executed,
but the more combo point that was used to perform the
finisher the strong the finisher becomes.

8. And to earn combo points you must
successfully land one of your special attacks
such as Sinister Strike. And every successful
attack adds a combo point to your current
target till a max of 5 combo point is reach.
Once the combo point is consumed by one of
your finish moves, you can begin to re-max 5
combo points again with your special attacks.

9. Now, ultimately all of Rogue’s
combat system comes down to
proper energy management, and a
proper high level Rogue should not
be out of energy for more than 4
seconds at a time. So if you would
