Any site that allows a user to specifically ask a question to a community, not always a niche community, can be considered an "Ask and Answer site".

Ask.com. Getting your posts on Ask can seriously increase traffic to your sites. These topics can range from the simply and mundane to the extremely time-consuming, but can be well worth the effort. Ask.com is one of thelargest question sites on the web. They do require quality answers, so do not think you are going to post short meaningless answers. They require content that makes sense. If you can snag an account there, go for it.

Yahoo Answers. Simply answer questions related to yourniche that you find on Yahoo answers. These are questions posted by users who need help in the niche your website offer is in. Keep your answers informative, accurate and related to the site you plan on promoting. Do not simply plug your link in and hope to get any kind of traffic from them. Answer the questions properly, be helpful and curious to the person asking the question.

Then include a link to your site. Not a sales pitch. If youhave answered the question properly and have genuinelyhelped the original poster with their question, the original poster can mark your answer as the best answer.

Initially your links will not be click-able. In this case, justrelax and answer more questions. When you reach around 250 points from the Yahoo answers system your links will become click-able. Even if you did not get selected as the best answer, as long as you give a well thought out reply other people can still read it and decide if they wish to click the link to your website.

When your answer is picked as the best, and it is of high quality, then you will begin to see increased web trafficfrom other people with the same kinds of questions. This traffic becomes highly targeted to your niche and your offer.
