Do you tend to keep using the same shopping cart extension over and over, for every Joomla project? If so – is it honestly because it’s the right solution for every client? Or is it because that’s what’s familiar and comfortable, and you know where the proverbial skeletons are buried?
While it can be efficient to continue to refine your skills and deepen your expertise in only one cart, you also could be limiting yourself, and your clients, in ways you don’t realize. This presentation uncovers what you might be missing that’s available today in the world of Joomla eCommerce.
This presentation is a comparative analysis of several popular eCommerce extensions for Joomla! 2.5. Deb Cinkus highlights the relative strengths of each extension, along with some of their potential downsides. This presentation provides objective insights into how different eCommerce extension features stack up against each other, to help you decide which cart(s) might be the best fit for your next project. Deb also includes some subjective considerations to keep in mind before investing your time, energy and money into learning yet another new shopping cart.
