Roots hold soil together and reduce soil erosion
Provides a home for the birds and insects.
Provides a natural divide instead of putting up fences and walls.
When they’re gone…
Soil erosion can take place.
This means that the soil is removed by the wind (blow away) or rain (washed away).
Without soil, we wouldn’t be alive as it is essential for growing our food.

Bug flew into a barn
A farmer was milking his cow. He was just starting to get a good rhythm going when a bug flew into the barn and started circling his head. Suddenly, the bug flew into the cow's ear. The farmer didn't think much about it, until the bug squirted out into his bucket.
