  • 2. 3 The best strategy to use twitter, and introducing The power of “Twitter Card?” Twitter released the Lead Generation Card that will allow marketers to collect leads directly from a tweet. What makes this even cooler is that it will populate popular CRM programs such as Infusion soft and Hubs pot with prospects information (no form to fill out). Understanding Twitter Cards  Give you control of how your content is displayed with tweets  Drive traffic to your site  Increase the number of people following your accounts content.  Make it possible for you to attach media experiences to Tweets that link to your content. Now what does a twitter card’s look like’s?
  • 3. 4  Twitter cards are expendables area of a tweets update.  Located underneath of updates like update photos, view summary. Summary Card: Default Card, including a title, description, thumbnail, and Twitter account attribution Summary Card with Large Image: Similar to a Summary Card, but with a prominently featured image and additional details and attribution. Photo Card: A Card with a photo only. Gallery Card: A Card highlighting a collection of four photos. App Card: A Card to detail a mobile app with direct download. Player Card: A Card to provide video/audio/media.
  • 4. 5 Product Card: A Card optimized for product details. Lead Generation Card: A Card to drive lead generation for your product or service. Available via the Twitter Ads Dashboard. Website Card: A Card to feature your website and drive click through traffic. Five simple steps Ready to get started with Cards? In most cases, it takes less than 15 minutes to implement. Review the documentation for the type of card you want to implement. Add the pertinent meta tags to your page. Run your URLs against the validator tool to be approved.
  • 5. 6 After approval, tweet the URL and see the Card appear below your tweet. Use Twitter Card analytics to measure your results. Please note that approval for the Player Card and the Product Card may take additional time to approve. Card properties are simple key-value pairs, each defined in its own HTML Meta tag as you see above. The combined collection of properties defines the overall card experience on Twitter, and each card supports and requires a specific set of properties. Only one card per-page is supported. All cards have one basic property in common and that is the card type value: Card Property Description Twitter: card the card type, which will be one of "summary", "photo", "gallery", "product", "app", or "player".
