  2. 2. If NHS is to survive another 65 years! • Population is ageing • Significant increase in people with long term conditions • Increased demand and rising costs threaten financial stability and sustainability of NHS • Means fundamental changes to how we deliver and use health care services
  3. 3. If NHS is to survive another 65 years! ‘This is not about unnecessary structural change, it is about finding ways of doing things differently, harnessing technology to fundamentally improve productivity, putting people in charge of their own health and care services.....’
