  • 1. Happy 80 th Birthday Peggy Ann Anderson Vanderford also known to a very select few as “Mimi”
  • 2. Peggy was born January 23, 1931 in Ellisville, Mississippi at her grandparents house.
  • 3.
    • Her parents were Earl T. & Lena Sue Bond Anderson
  • 4. She had a wonderful childhood as the oldest of seven children.
  • 5. Here are some photos with her brothers and sisters. First day of school
  • 6. 16
  • 7.  
  • 8. Peggy graduated from Jr. College, with plans to continue her education...
  • 9. but she met a neighbor’s son home from the Air Force and soon she was Mrs. Staff Sergeant Bobbie E. Vanderford and moving to Alabama
  • 10. One year later, they were parents of a daughter, Betty
  • 11. And then they were transferred to Italy for three years
  • 12. Italy
  • 13. After Italy, the Vanderfords moved to Oklahoma and added a baby boy, David
  • 14. Peggy worked the next 23 years for a CPA firm in downtown Tulsa. In 1970, daughter Betty married Kelly Malone.
  • 15. In 1973, son David married Sue Keadle. With both children happily married, Peggy and Bob decided to travel the world.
  • 16. For the next ten years they lived in Puerto Rico, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, They visited England, Greece, Holland, Japan, Bahrain, Qutar, Canada, St. Thomas, St. Croix, The Philippines, Korea and China.
  • 17. Here they are on a cruise of the Greek Islands
  • 18. Yep, that’s Peggy on a donkey !
  • 19. Here they are in Japan & Korea With the Hong family in Seoul Tokyo restaurant
  • 20. Thailand Holland London Saudi Arabia
  • 21. But their hearts were always in Oklahoma with their family.
  • 22. and it was growing…
    • First grandchild, Christian Malone, was born in May, 1976
  • 23. Second grandson, Zach Malone, was born in June 1982
  • 24. Third grandson, Dallas Vanderford, was born in July 1983
  • 25. Fourth grandson, Drew Malone, was born in August 1984
  • 26. In 1987, Chelsey Alexis Vanderford, completed our family
  • 27. Peggy became “Mimi” to her 5 grandchildren
  • 28.  
  • 29. She’s also Mimi to Hillary & Ben White, her “honorary grandchildren”
  • 30. In 1993, Peggy lost the love of her life, Bob. She continues to inspire her family with her strength as she carries on without him.
