  • Parents can protect and support their children through such a difficult situation by recognizing the signs of bullying. If you recognize your child being bullied reassure your child that you love them, and that they do not have to be frightened to tell you the truth. Explain that you will make sure that together you will find the best solution to this problem and keep them safe. As a way of helping everyone especially the parents, who find it quite hard to manage time, I found this great application which featured a safety app which gets me connected to a Safety Network or escalate my call to the nearest 911 when needed, it has other cool features that are helpful for your kids with just a press of a Panic Button. Check it here: http://www.SafeKidZone.com/

  40. 40. THINGS WE SHOULD NOT DO…..  Dont try to deal with the problem on your own. There is nothing wrong with asking for help.  Dont hit the people who are bullying you. You might end up being accused of bullying yourself.  Always tell the truth about what has happened. Dont exaggerate. If a small part of what you are saying is shown to be untrue then it throws everything else into doubt.  Dont hide what is happening from the adults you trust. Keeping things secret is the bullies biggest weapon. That is why they go to so much trouble to stop you telling.
