      • The coefficient of extension of steel is half as big as that of aluminium.
      • Therefore, no additional measures are required to create space for material extension within the system.

      • Due to the modulus of extension of aluminium being twice as high than that of steel, aluminium systems have to be thoroughly equipped with dilatation profiles.
