1 FADE IN 1. INT. RALPHS BEDROOM - DAY1.01. MEDIUM SHOT - PAN AROUND ROOM, ENDING ON RALPH In a small bedroom, decorated with everything magic, mythical and fictitious, and cluttered with toys to collectable sits RALPH.1.02. OSS - RALPH LOOKING DOWN AT THE BOOK ON THE DESK RALPH is a somewhat skinny 24 year old; he has dark brown scruffy hair and thick black rimmed glasses.1.03. CLOSE UP - RALPH STILL INTENSLY AT THE BOOK He sits in a chair at his desk wearing a full wizard attire - a dark purple robe with silver stars and an overlarge pointy hat which droops down over his face. He is reading a thick, brown leather-bound book open in front of him, next to the book is a wand.1.04. MCU - FOCUS ON RALPH, AS HE LOOKS UP DEFOCUS, AND FOCUS ON CAN He looks up from the book and stares deeply at a can of Coke at the other end of his desk.1.05. CUT IN - WAND, RALPH GRABS IT All of a sudden, he clutches his wand, and violently swishes it at the can.1.06. LONG SHOT - RALPH SWISHES THE WAND BUT THE CAN DOESNT MOVE Shouting peculiar magic sounding words at it.1.07. CU - RALPH LOOKS DISAPOINTED Nothing happens.1.08. LONG SHOT - SAME SHOT AS 1.06. After several failed attempts at trying to manipulate the can, he groans in frustration and throws his wand at the desk.1.09. POV - TILT UPWARDS TO PAPER SIGN He looks up at the corkboard on the wall in front of him, the entire board is almost engulfed entirely of magic posters of RALPHs favourite fictional wizards. On top of these is piece of paper that reads: "RALPHY, TO DO: MAKE LUNCH. TAKE OUT RUBBISH. LOVE MUM X".

21.10. MEDIUM SHOT - RALPH PUTS HIS WANDS BACK ON THE DESK AND BEGINS TO GET UP Upon reading this RALPH looks displeased1.11. MID SHOT - RALPH WALKS AWAY FROM THE CAMERA TOWARD THE DOOR He heads to the door reluctantly. 2. EXT. RALPHS HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER2.01. LONG SHOT - RALPH PEAKS OUT THE DOOR, CAMERA RIGHT NEXT TO BIN. HE BEGINS WALKING RALPH carries a bulky black bag of rubbish toward a larger outside steel bin - the bin is located right next to the road.2.02. MEDIUM SHOT - FOCUSING ON RALPHS UNCOMFORTABLENESS RALPH looks quite uncomfortable and cautious as he makes his way there.2.03. LONG SHOT - SAME SHOT AS 2.01. Just as he approaches the bin, RALPH is blindsided by a football.2.04. MWS - RALPH ALMOST FALLING Knocking his glasses to the round and almost taking RALPH off his feet too - but he manages to stay up. A gang of several young teenagers, all dressed in a similar tracksuit and Burberry style, laugh and taunt him as they walk past.2.05. MEDIUM SHOT - STATIC ON RALPH AS THE CHAVS ACT OFF CAMERA Some of them throw bottles at RALPH as they continue walking down the street, he stands motionless, accepting it. Once they stop throwing, RALPH exhales deeply as he bends over to pick up his glasses.2.06. OSS - RALPH HOLDS HIS GLASSES UP SO VISABLE TO CAMERA FROM HIS PERPECTIVE One of the lenses has a large crack, and while the other does not, both are now covered in sloppy mud.2.07. CUT IN - RALPH ABOUT TO RUB TO DIRT ON TO HIS ROBE THEN STOPPING RALPH goes to clean his glasses on his robes, but is hesitant about doing so - he appears very reluctant to get them dirty.

32.08. MCU He settles for pathetically wiping them on the side of the bin bag he is holding, before gently placing the large bag in the bin.2.09. POV - THE GLASSES GO ON, THE LENSES COVERING THE BLURRED VISION OF THE CAMERA, THEY DONT MAKE THINGS CLEARER. RALPH puts his glasses back on; squinting through them they dont seem to help him much.2.10. LONG SHOT - SAME AS 2.01. & 2.03. Just as he begins to turn back home, he stops. He sees something glistening that catches his eye at the opening of the bag he just placed in the bin.2.11. OSS - HE PICKS SOMETHING OUT THE BIN He reaches out and grabs a bottle, filled with bright neon-green liquid.2.12. POV - TRYING TO GET FOCUS ON THE BOTTLE LABEL He makes out some words printed on the label, through some significantly blurred. "FOR RALPH, PLEASE DRINK".2.13. MEDIUM SHOT RALPH smiles, and with almost hesitation, he picks up the bottle and gulps down the entire contents. He belches loudly, tilts his head and seems satisfied with his choice to drink it. 3. INT. RALPHS BEDROOM - MOMENTS LATER3.01. LOW ANGLE - ALMOST ON THE GROUND FOCUSED AT THE DOOR RALPH sits back in the same chair he was previously at.3.02. LONG SHOT - SAME AS 1.06. He replaces his glasses with a spare pair from his desk draw.3.03. MCU - SAME SHOT AS 1.04. Then reassumes his position of staring at the empty can.3.04. REPEAT SAME ACTIONS AS 1.05. AND 1.06. He pauses momentarily and repeats the same actions of swishing his wand and yelling.

4 He quickly attempts several more variations of shots and hand movements before the frustration of his constant failures comes to the surface.3.05. CU - FOCUS ON THE SLAM ON DESK AND OPENING HAND In a short burst of of anger he slams his fist down on the desk, opening his palm on impact.3.06. OSS All of a sudden, the can shoots from its static position and hand flies into RALPHs open hand.3.07. MCU - FOCUSING ON RALPHS EXPRESSION For several moments he is frozen, just mesmerised by the can now suddenly in his hand.3.08. LONG SHOT His giddiness soon takes over though as he bounces around the room like a small child.3.09. MEDIUM SHOT RALPH Yeah! I did it! Woo, ah wow, I totally meant to do that.3.10. MEDIUM SHOT - SLIGHTLY FURTHER AWAY He jumps back down into his chair and looks at both of his hands in awe. He raises them slowly with his palms open, aiming at a lamp next to his bed.3.11. CU - RALPHS FACE, MAINLY HIS EYES RALPH squints.3.12. MEDIUM SHOT The lamp flies into his hands, he grins. He puts the lamp down and turns on his swivel chair to the bed and sees his cat "Señor Meow", asleep. He repeats the same action and with shriek from the cat, it soars into RALPHs hands.3.13. MCU - RALPH CONTEPLATES RALPH (CONTD) So I dont even need a wand, awesome! Hmm, I wonder what else I can do. 4. EXT. MARKET - LATER

54.01. LONG SHOT - RALPH IS BARELY NOTICABLE IN THE LARGE CROWDS The market place of RALPHs small town is bustling with crowds of people, and cluttered with stalls, al exhibiting their products in open boxes on tables or on the ground. Most have a large gazebo style tent covering and separating them. RALPH runs eccentrically through the middle of the market stalls.4.02. CUT IN - ALMOST OVER RALPHS SHOULDER WE SEE THE LIST He holds a pad of paper which he looks down at, it reads: "SPELLS I HAVE: TELEKINESIS. FIRE. LIGHTNING. TALK TO DUCKS. Before placing it into his robe pocket.4.03. LONG SHOT - BACK TO 4.01. As he dashes through a gap between two stalls he catches a glance of an electronic store window with a small crowd gathered around looking in.4.04. MID SHOT - RALPH SLOWLY WALKS CLOSER TO THE STORE RALPH curiously stops his run and pushes his way to the front of the crowd, with a proud sense that he deserved to be there.4.05. CU - RALPHS REACTION TO THE NEWS Most are simply in a state of shock at what they are seeing at the television display in the window. The message "DR. RACCOON - A NEW SUPERR VILLIAN, ON THE LOOSE IN GREENDALE", scrolls across the bottom. A NEWSREPORTER comes on the screen, African-American, female, mid forties and wearing a tan suit.4.06. THE TV BROADCAST NEWSREPORTER We advice all of you to keep an eye out, stay vigilant, and if you see Dr. Raccoon, please do not engage in battle with him. (beat) Seriously. She pauses again as she puts her hand to her ear. NEWSREPORTER Err, this news just in, Dr. Raccoon has been seen outside the house of Karen, RALPH and James McKenzie. Again, we advice all of you to not engage him.

64.07. MID SHOT - RALPH RUNS OFF CAMERA As soon as the reporter finishes the story, RALPH begins running back in the same direction he came from. 5. EXT. DARK ALLY - MOMENTS LATER5.01. LONG SHOT - PANNING WITH RALPH WHEN NEEDED Rushing down a dark ally.5.02. MID SHOT - RALPHS JUMPS INTO THE BIN LEAVING THE CAMERA NLY SEEING BAGS FLY OUT RALPH jumps in to the first large, steel dumpster and begins rummaging through the contents. He throws out everything he picks up that he doesnt need onto the ground in gradually growing piles. RALPH Gotta find a disguise, gotta find a disguise.5.03. He picks up a large dark piece of material that is hard to see in the dark. RALPH (CONTD) Perfect. 6. EXT. STREETS - MOMENTS LATER6.01. LONG SHOT - FOCUSED ON RALPH - PANNING WITH RALPH turns a corner and sprints down street after street, he has already changed into his new superhero uniform, a dark tight fitting, full body suit, with a large red "R" marked on the front and back.6.02. MID SHOT - FOLLOWING (HANDHELD) He turns a corner and stops. The gang of teenagers that RALPH saw earlier in the day are stood staring right back at him.6.03. LOW ANGLE - RALPH STANDING CONFIDENT RALPH (CONTD) Stand aside mortals, I must confront Dr. Raccoon, terrorising my neighbourhood.6.04. CAMERA JUST ABOVE THE CHAVS, IDENTIFIABLE ONLY FROM THEIR HATS, LOOKING AT RALPH.

7 The gang look at each other, and one signals to the rest to move at him.6.05. MCU - RALPH SHOOTS FLAMES AT THE OFF CAMERA CHAVS RALPH holds out his hands and flames immediately disperse in a stream toward them. They all whelp and duck the flames in time. When the flames stop after several seconds they all turn fully around and flee in terror, RALPH stands still for a moment and he looks proud of himself.6.06. LONG SHOT After a beat, he slowly continues on his return to his house.6.07. CU At first with a strut and a large grin, but then transitioning upon the realisation that Dr.Raccoon was at his home.6.08. LONG SHOT - SAME AS 6.06 He begins to sprint 7. EXT. RALPHS HOUSE - LATER7.01. LONG SHOT - CAMERA IS PLACED NEAR TO THE BIN FROM EARLIER RALPH slows down from running when he gets outside his house, and begins walking to the slightly ajar front door.7.02. OSS - RALPH SLOWLY OPENING THE DOOR RALPH walks though it cautiously, scanning the area. RUFFLING sounds coming from the living room make RALPH alert and head in himself.7.03. MEDIUM SHOT - ALREADY IN THE HOUSE RALPH FULLY ENTERS THE HOUSE AND GOES STRAIGHT TO THE LIVING ROOM DOOR 8. INT. RALPHS LIVING ROOM8.01. TWO SHOT - ALMOST OVER THE SHOULDER OF RALPH AT A REASONABLE DISTANCE AWAY A dark figure, around RALPHs height is stood digging through the contents of a dresser, filled with expensive looking ornate pieces.8.02. MWS - ON DR.RACCOON

8 Placing most into a large brown bag by his feet, marked with a black $.8.03. OSS - FOLLOWING RALPH approaches stealthily.8.04. CUT IN - CHEW TOY, CUT AS SOON AT MOMENT OF SQUEAK But he steps on a dogs chew toy and it squeaks loudly.8.05. MCU The figure spins around, it is Dr. Raccoon. His appearance is strikingly similar to RALPHs - a man in his mid-twenties, just below average build with dark, unkempt hair. He is also wearing a disguise, a full body costume that replicates a raccoon body, including hood with ears and a highwayman style mask to disguise his face. Dr. Raccoon charges at RALPH8.06. MWS - RALPH LOOKS UP FROM HIS FEET AND THE TOY. AND IS TACKLED DOWN OFF CAMERA Before he has a chance to react, he is tackled around the stomach bringing them both to the ground.8.07. CU - HANDHELD (BOURNE SERIES FIGHT SCENE ESQ.) RALPH brings up his arms shielding his face as Dr. Raccoon swings at him. All of a sudden RALPH manages to thrust an elbow toward his face, making the Doctor fall on top of RALPH Now grappling on to each other by the neck, they roll hectically around the living room floor, tumbling into tables and knocking over many lamps, amongst other furniture.8.08. LOW ANGLE - FIGHTING IN THE FOREGROUND, THOUGH OUT OF FOCUS, WITH JAMES IN THE BACKGROUND Through an open doorway into the hallway passes RALPHs younger brother JAMES. He has his iPod playing loudly through his large headphones, though currently relaxed around his neck on his journey back from the kitchen, and holding a bowl of cereal. He stares blankly at them for several seconds before taking a goliath sized munch of cereal and slobbering upstairs.8.09. CU - SAME AS 8.07.

9 Dr. Raccoon manages to take the advantage; on top of RALPH with his hands tightly squeezing RALPHs neck. He savagely squeezes tighter and tighter, draining the life from RALPH.8.10. POV - LOOKING DOWN AT HIS FREE HAND RALPH looks looks down at his hands and realises that one is free.8.11. MEDIUM SHOT - BOTH CHARACTERS He opens his fist, and with a scream pulses Dr. Raccoon against the far wall and on to a heap on the ground.8.12. MCU Completely sapped of all energy he breathes heavily and doesnt even attempt to get up. RALPH stands up slowly, slightly bruised and battered he stands and limps a bit closer to an almost motionless Dr.Raccoon.8.13. CU - DR RACCOON8.14. MID SHOT - RALPH RALPH Ive got you now Dr.Raccoon.8.15. FS - RALPH He raises his arms, in the way he previously has done to unleash fire. He screams out as he trusts his arms forward to discharge his spell. When suddenly... JUMP CUT TO: 9. EXT. RALPHS HOUSE - DAY9.01. FULL SHOT - SHOT OF THE SIDE RALPH is outside his house wearing his purple wizard outfit, but now with the addition of a black bin linear around his torso.9.02. LONG SHOT - He is in the same place he was when he drank the light green liquid. RALPH however is still entranced in his reality and is tring to set fire to a nearby raccoon with just his hands.

10 RALPH (insanely) Fireball! Fireball! Ive got you! (laughs demonically)9.03. MEDIUM SHOT Several passers by stare at RALPH in utter confusion.9.04. PUSH IN - FROM THE LONG SHOT, MOVE TOWARD THE GLASS PIECE We see the bottle that contained the green liquid shattered on the ground in a small green puddle. One of the shattered pieces has a part of the label which reads: DEFINETLY NOT FOR RALPH, PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW HIM TO DRINK" FADE OUT THE END.
