Paul Derwin was employed by CJK Engineering from 01/06/05 until 23/10/14. Paul is leaving CJK of
his own accord due to his decision to emigrate to the USA. During his employment with us, we found
Paul to be punctual, diligent, trustworthy, hardworking, and an excellent team player who got on well
with all his work colleagues.
Paul initially was employed as an electrician but within 2 years had been promoted to the role of site
foreman. Paul in his time with CJK was responsible for the delivery of numerous projects which were
always completed safely, on time and within budget. Paul was directly responsible for the successful
completion of many projects in the past 9 years some of which were in Dublin Airport, Trinity College
University College Dublin, Microsoft and Intel.
Paul’s work ethic and attention to detail would have played a huge part in CJK building up long term
relationships with our clients. I have always found paul to be flexible and obliging when dealing with
our clients and his ultimate goal is to ensure that the clients receive the best of service and quality
every time.
Paul qualified as a building services engineer in 2013 and he has predominantly worked in this role for
the last two years. Paul has been a huge success in this role by combining his previous onsite electrical
experience with the knowledge he has gained through his electrical degree. Throughout his 9 years of
employment with CJK Pauls role has changed many times due to the ever changing economic
environment. He has had no issue falling back into the role of site electrician or chargehand as the
need arose.
CJK have been very fortunate to have an employee with the knowledge and expertise that Paul
possesses. We wish Paul every success in his future career and we would have no hesitation in
recommending him to any prospective employer or re-employing Paul when he decides to return to
