    2. Black Hat thinking feels comfortable
    3. We We normally focus ARGUMENTS & CRITICISM normally focus on on arguments & criticism
    4. The Black Hat is always logical, never emotional
    5. It is also called the „logical negative“
    6. Black hat thinking must be truthful...
    7. ...but it does not have to be fair!
    8. The purpose of Black Hat thinking is to show why something will not work.
    9. Black Hat thinking is valuable.
    10. You can ENJOY being negative!
    11. But you must know when to stop!
    12. The ROLE of a devil's advocate.
    13. Fear? Black Hat thinking is an important part of the the thinking process.
    14. Black Hat reasons must stand by themselves...
    15. ...and must be usable by anyone.
    16. ...the figures I know are different from the ones you gave.
    17. ... that is not the only explanation, but just one explanation.
    18. ...there does not need to be a logical connection between those points.
    19. Good Black Hat thinking requires... IMAGINATION ...to generate alternatives and possibilities
    20. It is true that if we increase prices, sales will fall
    21. But if we justify it as a „premium product“
    22. We might get a different type of customer
    23. ...and our fall in sales may be offset by increased revenue.
    24. Black Hats are about alternative facts
    25. If we increase speeding fines...
    26. ...people will drive more slowly on Autobahns in Germany
    27. ?????
    28. Black Hats are about LIKELIHOODS
    29. Are the facts CORRECT?
    30. Are the facts RELEVANT?
    31. Showing wrong facts is most common Black Hat thinking
    32. Black Hat thinking is to show weaknesses in facts, to avoid making potential mistakes.
    33. There are no emotions
    34. Experience is PERSONAL
    35. Experience is VALUABLE
    36. Experience itself is not the absolute truth!
    37. Past lessons may not work for tomorrow
    38. Black Hat thinking balances the Yellow Hat
    39. How to handle Black Hat thinking
    40. Remember: Map Making not Arguments
    41. Acknowledge the negative thoughts
    42. Acknowledge, show a parallel situation making the first thought unlikely
    43. Acknowledge the danger, put forward an alternative proposal
    44. Do some Black Hat thinking on the person's Black Hat thinking
    45. Offer an alternative view and place it alongside for later use
    46. Too many Black Hats?
    47. Showing that facts work takes time and patience
