    • Mangrove swamps are found along tropical seacoasts on both sides of the equator.
  • 3. Climate
    • Mangroves are wet forest with roots submerged in the water.
    • There are numerous species and provide protection against strong winds, waves caused by hurricanes and even tsunamis.
  • 4. Flora Bruguiera gymnorrhiza Kandelia candel Flora in the mangroves can measure up to 15 m in height. Some species are:

  • 6. Fauna spider monkey sea turtle Caiman crocodilus fuscus There are some animals that are endangered species due to the irrational hunt: lizards, manatee and several species of turtles
