    • The Earth's oceans cover about 140,500,000 square miles!
    • They contain almost 330,000,000 cubic miles of water!
  • 3. Only 3% is fresh water…
    • 80% of the surface of the earth is water but only 3% is fresh water we can actually use…not a lot is it?
  • 4. He looks a bit tense….!
    • The water we use today is the same water the dinosaurs used…it just goes round and round!

    • 1.5 billion people do not have access to a safe and adequate water supply….
    More than…
  • 6. Snow…
    • Fresh, incompact snow is actually 90-95 percent trapped air.
  • 7. Even Einstein…..
    • Humans require about 2.5 litres of water a day…yes even Einstein did!
  • 8. Mostly water…
    • A watermelon is about 92 percent water….
  • 9.
    • An egg is about 74 percent water…and that’s no joke!
    You must be yoking…
  • 10.
    • 38 litres of water are needed to refine 1 litre of petrol.
  • 11.
    • A shower can use 19 litres of water every single minute…wow!
  • 12.
    • The average toilet uses 19 to 26 litres of water per flush…
  • 13. Even with all the fresh water we actually have…
    • Some of it is unfit for human consumption.
    • What water we have…we waste…
    • A lot contains dissolved minerals like calcium and magnesium – often called hard water that are difficult to remove!

    • 85% of the USA has hard water!
  • 15.
    • 60% of the UK has hard water!
  • 16.
    • The rest of the world also has “fresh” water that contains minerals that make it hard…it’s a big problem!
