Leviticus 16:30 to make atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord.
Sacrifice Leviticus 1-7: Five Offerings. Jesus is the only way to Me.
Sacrifice We can only approach God on the basis of sacrifice and priestly mediation.
Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.” Sacrifice
Sacrifice Burnt offering Leviticus 1:4 He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him
Sacrifice He is to slaughter the young bull before the Lord, and then Aaron’s sons the priests shall bring the blood and sprinkle it against the altar on all sides….

So What? Our worst problem is distance from God.
So What? We need pardon for guilt and fellowship with God.
So What? God in His grace accepts the death of a substitute as payment for the penalty of sin.
So What? Relationship with God trumps every other concern.
So What? Relationship with God must be on His terms.
