Saved by Grace, Through Faith! Christmas

Salvation! John 6:8-29 The people asked him, “What must we do to be doing the work of God?” Jesus answered, “This is the work of God: that you believe the One he sent.”

Salvation! Salvation is not a matter of trying , but trusting !

Salvation! It’s not a matter of proving something, but accepting something!

Salvation! John 19:30 “It is finished.” “ tetelestai.”

Salvation! Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

What is Grace? Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

What is Grace? 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

What is Grace? Colossians 2:14 He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.

What is Grace? 1 John 4:10 This is love; not that we loved God but that he loved us, and sent his son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

What is Grace? 2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for this indescribable gift!

What is Grace? 2 Peter 1:3 For as you know him better, he will give you, through his great power, everything you need for living a truly good life: he even shares his own glory and his own goodness with us!

Through Faith Romans 4:5 People are declared righteous because of their faith , not because of their work. “ Justified”-

Through Faith Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Through Faith John 14:1 “Do not be worried and upset…. Believe in God and believe also in me.”

Through Faith Matt. 27:40 “If you are the Son of God, save yourself and come down from the cross!”
