    • When Outlook is used with Exchange, you can easily share your calendar, giving your important contacts immediate access to your information.

    • Create tasks that you assign to others:
      • A request is sent in an e-mail message asking the recipient to complete a task.
      • They can decline the task, accept the task, or assign the task to someone else.
      • If the recipient accepts the task, it is added to the recipient's task list.
      • If they accept the task, they become the permanent owner.
    • The owner is the only one who can make changes to the task. When an owner updates a task Outlook updates all copies of that task.
    • When the owner completes the task, Outlook automatically sends a status report to the person who originally assigned the task, any other prior owners, and anyone else who requested a report.

    • A copy of your mailbox is stored on your computer to provide quick access to your email. and is frequently updated with the mail server.
    • If you work offline, whether by choice or due to a connection problem, your data is still available to you instantly wherever you are. Any changes you make while a connection to the server isn't available are synchronized automatically when a connection is available.

    • Send and receive text and picture messages between Office Outlook 2007 and any mobile phone.
    • Forward Outlook e-mail, contacts, appointments, and tasks to yourself or other people as text messages.
