The Morning Drive Radio Tour (MDRT)
The MDRT was created and trademarked by PTA in 1990 and has proven to be an extremely popular and effective publicity vehicle.
The MDRT capitalizes on the enormous audience listening to news and talk shows in cities around the country by lining up a guaranteed 18 to 20 back-to-back interviews in one morning, all performed from a client’s home or office (by phone).
We contact leading mainstream radio stations across the country, primarily in the top 40-50 markets, as well as regionally and nationally syndicated outlets.
Listener totals range in the millions, targeted to news/talk or other formats, such as NPR, business, health, oldies, etc.
Radio News Release
PTA will create and send out a one-minute sound byte with you about your book, service, or organization to cover 10,000 radio producers at 4,000 radio stations, to both FM and AM stations, in hundreds of markets and cities.
We guarantee at least 200 stations will air your story, but often 500-800 stations will air it.
Power Radio Promotion & Giveaways
We will arrange a promotional giveaway of books/videos or products on top AM/FM radio stations in any market or markets around the country.
We typically give away 3-5 promotional items per station.
Satellite TV Tour (SMT)
SMTs work in the same way as the Morning Drive Radio Tour, just with television.
During one morning, we will arrange 15 back-to-back news interviews with local TV stations across the country via satellite, allowing you to stay in a single location.
The tour lasts about 3 hours with each interview lasting approximately 4-6 minutes.
PTA lands interviews on shows that air just prior to national news programs like The Today Show, Good Morning America, and The Early Show.
Every hour on the tour means over a million viewers have heard and seen your message, on average.
We regularly book with affiliates of NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX.
Radio & Television
Hybrid Satellite TV/Radio Tour
This is a combination of the Morning Drive Radio Tour and the Satellite TV Tour, with 10 radio interviews and 10 television interviews.
The tour takes place in a single morning from one location.
National Broadcast Television & Syndicated Radio Campaign
We will reach out to every single appropriate national network and cable television station and show, as well as nationally syndicated radio shows primarily focused on news/talk or on your topic. This is a three to six-month campaign.
