ERAMIS Tempus Project Final Conference – Voronezh, June 2013
  4. 4.  Unusual master: not a specialization of the Bachelor’s domain  Aims to provide an additional professional specialization in computer sciences  Open to students with a Bachelor degree in another field than computer sciences ◦ students of exact sciences and engineering science ◦ students of human and social sciences  Master’s degree program ISC is created on the basis of two masters: ◦ At Université Pierre Mendès France, Grenoble (created in 1985) ◦ At Kirghize National University, Bishkek (created in 2007) 4ERAMIS Tempus Project Final Conference – Voronezh, June 2013

  10. 10. • 2 surveys carried out in every region • 2383 students (1012 SHS, 1371 sciences & engineering) • 174 companies • General results • Depending on the country, the number of interested students vary from 40% to 65% • Industrial companies need IT/CS specialists. Therefore Informatics as a second competence makes sense. • Industrial companies need different kinds of IT/CS specialists such as web developers, software engineers, network administrators etc. depending on the geographic location. • Industrial companies need not only “pure” IT/CS specialists → Common modules for generic competences and particular modules for specific competences. 10ERAMIS Tempus Project Final Conference – Voronezh, June 2013
