This presentation is intended to demonstrate how the FLASH presentation will work on the home page of the Vermont Partnership website. These are stock images that need to be purchased, if approved. They're royalty-free so the cost is relatively insignificant.

Transcript of "070310 home pg_image_concepts"

 1. 1.

Home Page Development

Proposed image and call-out Options

(prelude to FLASH)

Submitted: July 3, 2010

Peter Lloyd Johnson MCGC Capstone
 2. 2.

Group A

Submitted: July 3, 2010

Peter Lloyd Johnson MCGC Capstone
 3. 3. This, and the following three slides, will attempt to demonstrate how images and call-out concepts will change within a FLASH presentation on the home page. The photos, headline and introductory text will transition between four (4) different concepts. Text below the presentation will remain unchanged. Links within the left and right column navigation will also remain unchanged. (Note the addition of font adjustment and language translation in the upper right corner of the page.)
 4. 7.

Group B

Submitted: July 3, 2010

Peter Lloyd Johnson MCGC Capstone
 5. 8. This next group provides new images for three of the four concepts. I still like this photo and can’t bring myself to offer a substitute. Please note that mixing and matching of images and concepts is always open for discussion. The center image should be hopeful, or at least confident/determined. Because no matter how unfairly someone’s been treated, people are coming to this site hoping to find recourse to their problems.
 6. 12.

Secondary Page - Design

Submitted: July 3, 2010

Peter Lloyd Johnson MCGC Capstone
 7. 13. This last page shows a design for a secondary page . This example shows the “About Us” page, and the treatment of other drop-down links related to this section of the site (right column). Actual link navigation related to the About Us page is shown per the proposed site map dated June 25.
