  • 4. There are 21 Universities and 28 Colleges in Ontario with over 50,000 programs
    • Basic requirements for University
    • 6 Grade 12 University or Mixed Level Courses (average of your TOP 6)
    • ENG4U – Grade 12 English

    • Pre-requisites are courses required for entry into a university or college program
    • Supplementary applications can include things like portfolios, interviews, essays
    • Recommended courses are not required for admissions but are recommended that you take them as chances are you will be taking these courses in your first year
  • 5. Admissions Statistics Based on last year…
    • more than 160,000 students applied to College in Ontario!
    • more than 380,000 students applied to Universities in Ontario! Under 68,000 students were offered admissions.
    • University of Toronto had over 45,500 applicants and was the most applied to school in Ontario. Only 9,195 were admitted to an undergraduate degree.
    • Ryerson only has 150 spots in their Nursing program and received 2,023 applications.
