  3. 3. Beautiful places in Egypt:River Nile Cruise -Known as the popular way of visiting upper Egypt.- The Nile River has been a lifeline since ancient times,- it is also used to travel to the Loxur- Aswan route.
  4. 4. Pyramid of Giza-one of the most undisputable tourist attraction in Egypt.- built over the span of three generation: Khfu, Khafre, Menkaure.- Stand 455 feet(139 m) making the largest pyramid.
  5. 5. Red Sea Reef- Most beautiful places in the world to dive in.- Has a wide expense of coral formation on the reefs.- It’s water are renowed for their spectacular visibility and features the seascape.
  6. 6. Karnak- largest ancient religious site ever built.- represents the achievement of many generations of Egyptians builders.- consists of three main temples, small endorsed temples and several outer temples.

  8. 8. Culture of Egypt - has a 6,000 years of recorded history. - the Ancient Egypt was among the earliest civilization. - maintained a strikingly complex and stable of culture that influence the later cultures of later Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
  9. 9. Literature - formed a separate branch among the family of Afro-Asiatic language. - suing of hieroglyphics during the ancient times ( the first written language). - using the Optic language - using the Egyptian-Arabic (the modern speech used today by the country).
  10. 10. Religion- 90% of Egyptians population is Muslim with Sunni majority.- 9% is Optic Christian.- 1% are the other religions and forms of Christianity.
  11. 11. Visual ArtsAncient times - they had a wall paintings done in the service of the Pharaohs. - characterized by absence of linear perspective. - use a grid system to create a smaller version of artwork and scale up the design upon the proportional representation of a large grid.
  12. 12. Modern times -using a modern media such as digital art on their works. - using the World Wide Web as an alternative outlet for artist for a strong art-focused internet community.
  13. 13. Sports- Football is the most popular sports in Egypt.- Basketball, handballs, and squash and tennis was the other sports played by the Egyptians.

  16. 16. AnumAppearance: -Man with a ram head -man wearing an ostrich plumed hat.Also known as:-the powerful god in ancient Egypt.- king of the gods-combined the power of the sun god, Ra.
  17. 17. Anubis- a jackal headed godAppearance:- man with a jackal head-a jackalAlso known as: - god of embalming - often sees in cemeteries so the Ancient Egyptians believed that Anubis watched over the dead.

  19. 19. Horus- the one far aboveAppearance:-man with the head of a hawk.Also known as :- god of the sky- protector ruler of Egypt.- Ancient Egyptians believed that the pharaohs was the living Horus.

  21. 21. • Osiris Appearnace: -a mummified man wearing a white cone-like headdress with feathers.Also known as:- ruler of the underworld.- god of resurrection and fertility.
  22. 22. RaAppearance:- man with a hawk head and headdress with a sun disk.Also known as:- the sun god-Ancient Egyptians believed that Ra was swallowed every night by the sky and was reborn every morning.
