  • What is in a title? What do they mean? Why do we care? How do titles affect your job as a product manager
  • Roots of stereotyping. Maybe the guy on the left is actually going to bash your head in, and the guy on the right is just hungry.
  • Older industries, especially consumer-facing industries, have titles that everyone understands.
  • There is only one Dalai Lama. What does that mean about the man?
  • There are a lot of cashiers. If one of them won’t help you, another one will. They’re interchangeable.
  • Important because it gives people a roadmap, and also because it gives people credit for where they have already gotten to.
