Who is James Kofi Annan? ,[object Object],[object Object]
The Road to Freedom
At the age of 14, seven years after the beginning of his captivity, Annan escaped.
In 2003, Annan started Challenging Heights, a school designed for the purpose of keeping children out of slavery.
In 2008, Annan won the Frederick Douglass Freedom Award for his great work in the prevention of child slavery.
