      • Settled first by indigenous peoples, then by the English
      • The English language
    3. And some things that set us apart:
      • Systems of government – Australia is a constitutional monarchy, while the U.S. is a federal republic
      • Population (Australia 21 million; U.S. 304 million)
      • The English language!
