UPAEP Summer Spanish Immersion ProgramDescription• UPAEP-DELC and the Office of International Programs offer the Spanish Immersion Program (SIP) to individuals who want to experience a total immersion in Spanish language and Mexican culture.• Throughout SI Program you will learn Spanish from within a Spanish-speaking culture. DUAL DEGREE MASTER PROGRAM OSU - UPAEP DescriptionDual master’s programs are divided in three phases:First phase at the “home university” OSU: Participating students spend one year at the home institution, taking 6-8 courses (typically from 15 to 24 American credit hours; 30-56 Mexican credit hours).Second phase at the partner university UPAEP: An adviser is assigned to each student at the host university. With the aid of the adviser, the participating student spend one year at the host institution, taking the required course work to complete the degree requirements at the host university.Third phase at either university, thesis. In order to earn a degree, the Student must complete the degree requirements of each pertinent institution, including the writing of a thesis or the successful completion of a “capstone” course or a comprehensive exam (depends on the program).
