  13. 13. Tide power Tidal power Offshore wind power Location : Deokjeok island Ongjin, Incheon Budget : About 800 billion won Capacity : There are 200 machines make 200MW at once. It will makes 613GWh /year(3.2% of using electric in Inchoen) Location : Deokjeok island Ongjin, Incheon Budget : About 800 billion won Capacity : There are 200 machines make 200MW at once. It will makes 613GWh /year(3.2% of using electric in Inchoen) Location : Si-wha lake Budget : About 314 billion won Specific : This is the first Tidal power plant in Koera, and the biggest one in the world Capacity : It makes 254MW at once (It is more than Rance in France) Location : Si-wha lake Budget : About 314 billion won Specific : This is the first Tidal power plant in Koera, and the biggest one in the world Capacity : It makes 254MW at once (It is more than Rance in France) Location : Western sea from Muii Isalnd(size : 5km²) Budget : About 460 billon won Capacity : There are 39 machines make 99MW at once. It will makes 267MWh/year(1.4% of using electric in Incheon) Location : Western sea from Muii Isalnd(size : 5km²) Budget : About 460 billon won Capacity : There are 39 machines make 99MW at once. It will makes 267MWh/year(1.4% of using electric in Incheon)
  14. 14.  Dike length : 12.7Km  Capacity : 254MW  One directional Bulb of 25.4MW x 10  8 gates, reserbior area of 39.0km² , with 7.8 tidal range  To be completed in 2010
  15. 15.  We should be carful for operating this system. SS propagation can significantly affect the local environment.  With the proper field measurement and modeling, we could learn many things about TBP plant for the first time.  For reliable prediction, especially inside of embankment, the model coupling b/w hydrostatic & nonhydrostatic is needed.  Since the Sihwa plant is the first one of its own kind, it will affect greately the future TBP generation plan.
