forms of IT and social media in financial service sector
This club was established by using Group Page
and Fan Page on facebook to promote MIT Free
education on OCW in Thailand
What is so distinct about this club?
◦ This is the first MIT OCW Club in Asia or perhaps in the
world besides MIT OCW Fan Page itself
◦ Using social media and radio to get 460 members in 3-
4 months
◦ MIT OCW was unknown to most of Thai people so using
way of social media to get attention of Thai people is
interesting. ( because Thai people , unlike US people, are
not easily driven to non-profit club like this)
