Teaching English Through AMovieDiscussion ActivityStudents would be divided in small groups to discuss the movie. They would try to figure out the moral of the story.Ideas such as pollution and animal extinction should be raised. Solutions tothis phenomenon should be elaborated.Ideas such as tolerance and accepting differences should be also shedlight upon. Mumble was a different penguin but his difference saved hisfellow species. At the end of the movie take a little time to learn to tap dance with yourstudents using the tutorial included in the DVD. I would have loved to havetried it with my students, but in this part of the world it is not PC. Besides Iam really bad at dance. Like Mumble with singing, tap dancing issomething I can not do, but I love teaching, and hope one day that will makea difference somewhere on this earth.Regards.Asma Chouchane Satchell
