Novel Therapeutic solutions to Orthopedics &
Rheumatology - OMICS Group Medical Conferences
2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Orthopedics & Rheumatology at
Embassy Suites Las Vegas, USA during 19-21 August 2013.
Rheumatology is a clinical problem that involves joints, soft tissues, vasculitis, and heritable connective
tissue disorders. As it is connected closely to immune system, a study on rheumatology is nothing but a
study on Immunology.
Rheumatic fever immediately affects the heart. A look at the global factsheet reveals the severity of the
problem:
• It is responsible for about 233,000 deaths annually.
• At least 15.6 million people are estimated to be currently affected by RHD.
• The worst affected areas are sub-Saharan Africa, south-central Asia, the Pacific and indigenous
populations of Australia and New Zealand.
• Up to 1 per cent of all schoolchildren in Africa, Asia, the Eastern Mediterranean region, and Latin
• 50 million people in US alone are diagnosed as affected with arthritis and by 2030 this number is
expected to reach 67 million.
• One in every 20 citizens in US face this problem and women between the ages of 30-60 are most likely
to get affected with this.
Realizing the gravity of the disorder, OMICS announces the 2nd International Conference and Exhibition
on Orthopedics & Rheumatology at Embassy Suites Las Vegas, USA during 19-21 August 2013, with the
theme ‘Exploring Novel Therapeutic Approaches in the field of Orthopedics & Rheumatology’.
Orthopedics & Rheumatology-2013 also holds an illustrious expo with a chance to provide practical
solutions for rheumatology with the help of emerging ideas and working models.
OMICS Group Medical Conferences: Orthopedics & Rheumatology-2013 consists of the following tracks
covering the Orthopedic & Rheumatology spectrum:
• Orthopedic Surgery and Therapy

• Regenerative and Molecular Orthopedics
• Biomaterials and Implanting Technologies
• Rheumatology
• Current Diagnostics in Orthopedics
• Potential Complications of Orthopedic Surgery
• Potential Drivers of Tomorrows Orthopedics
• Non-Surgical Treatment Options for Orthopedic Problems
