Objective: To learn the characteristics
of solids and liquids.
1 Box of Mule Team Borax laundry detergent
Elmer’s white glue
1 Mixing spoon
Plastic Sandwich Bags
Measure 1 Teaspoon of borax into a mixing
Measure 6 teaspoons of water into the same
Stir mixture until dissolved.
Measure 1 Tablespoon of glue into the second
Measure 1 Tablespoon of the
water/detergent mixture into the same
Pour the Borax mixture into the glue mixture
and stir until it forms a stiffened lump.
Take the mixture out of the bowl and knead
it for three minutes.
