  2. 2. Trailer Wallwisher
  3. 3. Trailer Feedback - PositivesThe feedback said that the camerawork was well shot andthe various shot types used helped to make the trailerbetter.• ‘the shot variety is good’• ‘The shots are good, well thought out’Also the editing used was quick and snappy, this helped thetrailer to flow well and stay conventional.• ‘the editing is well done’• ‘I like the use of wipes too, very conventional’
  4. 4. Trailer Feedback - NegativesOur audience thought that the music didn’t really fit the genre ofthe film. It seemed like it had just been casually thrown over thetop of the trailer.• ‘The music is quite poor and doesn’t really fit the trailer’They didn’t like the costumes either, they thought that they weren’treally suited to the character.• ‘some of the costumes were too casual’The narrative drew a few criticisms, many believed it was to vague.• ‘The narrative is a little confusing, maybe you give too much away’• ‘The narrative is alright, however the trailer visually is superb’

  7. 7. Ancillary Wallwisher
  8. 8. Ancillary Feedback – PositivesMost people believed that the Magazine was good, andlooked very conventional.• ‘The magazine is well created’• ‘Overall the quotes and cover lines are creative’Overall the poster was successful and it lookedrealistic.• ‘Poster is really good, I like font styles a lot.’• ‘The poster is well done and looks official’From the surveys its clear that many people liked thelayout and also the colour scheme and font styles thatI’d chosen.
  9. 9. Ancillary Feedback - NegativesMost of the criticisms were about the poster.• ‘The poster is a little to simple’• The poster is simple, and it needs a little more’Also the image and colour scheme of the magazinewas questioned a few times.• ‘The image is a little weird’• ‘The colour scheme looks a little bland’The survey results showed that although the Ancillarytasks are good they aren’t enough to convince peopleto go and watch the film.

  12. 12. SummaryOverall the feedback gained from my target market werepositive. They explained on how well edited the trailer wasand how good the shots were composed. The ancillarytasks were equally as successful with the audience, theythought that the poster was simple but effective and themagazine looked official and conventional. However the negatives that were picked out about thetrailer were centred around the music and how it didn’treally fit the genre. Also the ancillary tasks were too simpleand the composition of the images were confusing andstrange.
  13. 13. Improvements - TrailerFrom the audience feedback I have learnt that thetrailer needs better music, as it doesn’t fit thegenre and doesn’t related to what’s happeningwithin the film. Also some of the costumes should have beenbetter thought out, for example when my characteris dressed casually in joggers and a hoody for adate. He should have been smarter to show theimportance of the date.
  14. 14. Improvements – AncillaryThe audience feedback I gathered also gave me lots ofthings to improve concerning my ancillary tasks, themagazine although it looked good, drew criticisms for thecomposition of the images on the front. Also the colour scheme wasn’t well thought out with a fewpeople thinking that it was too bland and lacked real colour. The poster was too simple, many people thought that itneeded more added to it, it just seemed like a picture with afew bits of writing. It needed more emphasis on the title ofthe film.
