  4. 5. Dover Castle
  5. 6. <ul><li>It is an enormous fortress situated between England and France on the shore of Strait of Dover. </li></ul><ul><li>There are lots of legends about this castle as it was the Royal families’ residence. </li></ul>
  6. 7. Caernarfon Castle
  7. 8. <ul><li>It was built in 1283 when English King Edward I ordered to start building of a stone castle on the place of an ancient fortification. </li></ul><ul><li>The castle managed to withstand the longest sieges in 1294-95, 1403, 1404. </li></ul>

  9. 10. <ul><li>It is an ancient fortress in the centre of Edinburgh. </li></ul><ul><li>The castle stands on the Castle Rock which was called “the key to Scotland”. </li></ul><ul><li>There is the famous St. Margaret’s Chapel on the territory of the castle, built by her son, King David, in XII century. </li></ul>
