  • INTRODUCTION What is sound editing? Is the process by which all of the talking, music, and sound effects are put together to form the final sound track. It can be used in films, in music industry and in a live concert.
  • What are they? Are devices or a computer programs that are capaciable to decoding and coding digital data. Lossless codecs LOSS CODECS Don’t confuse with a coding or compresion format! CODEC
  • Loss codecs Are codes that reduce quality of a data by some amount in order to achieve compression.This codecs are more common to use in a multimedia data.
  • The lossless codes Are codes that can reduce data of the original size and decompressed to an identical copy of the original one.This codes are more common to use in audio data.
  • What is a sound format? Is a file format for storing a digital audio data. This data can be stored uncompressed, or compressed to reduce the file size. Wav  Used in Apple Macintosh and is compatible to Window operating system.It uses with lossles code. AIFF  Used in Apple Macintosh and ist uses a lossless code. MP3  Designed by Movieng Picture Experts Group.It uses a loss codec. WMA  (Windows Media Audio ) uses Microsft and it a lossless codec.
  • What is an audio device? It allows to a user to send audio signals for recording or carring out comands. Microphones :is a sensor that converts the sound in air into electronic signals. Loudspeakers: they produce sound in response to electronic signals. Sound card: is a computer card that facilitates the signals to and for a computer under the control of computer programs Headphones:are devices that allows the user to listen the sound he wants to hear.We place them on our ears in order to listen the sound privately.
