About I’m focussing on international cooperative digital library development. For the last 8 years I’ve been involved in many EU-funded projects. Currently I’m a project manager for Europeana, the EU’s flagship online museum, library and archive. I’m managing various major projects that will add millions of new objects to Europeana. I’m one of the founders of The European Library, the collaborative platform of the national libraries of Europe. I was responsible for a series of projects that successfully integrated 40 national libraries and their collections into TheEuropeanLibrary.org I’ve presented across Europe, Asia and the USA. I studied astronomy at Leiden University, Netherlands
