  • 2. Closed Form
    The picture to the right shows closed form. Closed form is when the whole object is seen in the picture.
  • 3. Open Form
    Some of the person to the left is cropped out of the picture which means that this is open form.
  • 4. Linear Perspective
    The handrails on the boardwalk present linear perspective which the lines are receding to a perspective point on a horizon line.
  • 5. Atmospheric Perspective
    In this picture to the left the warms colors in the sky are coming forward while the cool colors are moving backwards this is showing atmospheric perspective.
  • 6. Lighting
    The boats are being emphasized by the lighting of the picture. The lighting brings out the main focus of the picture.
  • 7. Scale
    In this picture the road and the trees seem to get smaller as they go farther back. This is an example of scale.
  • 8. Texture
    The way the lighting is shown on the orange shows that the fruit is kind of smooth or maybe even bumpy. This is an example of texture.
