•  Increase awareness of the risks and consequences associated with abusing prescription painkillers.•  Teach interactive refusal skills.•  Achieve student engagement with the PEERx “Choose Your Path” activity. –  Encourage healthy decision-making and implementation of refusal skills.

•  Mentors successfully complete the program.•  Through a subcontract, mentors are required to complete an internship.•  Mentors are required to implement at least one PEERx activity in their assigned school.
