We are a very special, God-centered anddedicated group; and, it is our belief that we must always do our very best in developing thestudents of our school both academically, spiritually, socially, and physically. We are here to formstrong, Christian, and responsible individuals, who are capable of making free and correct choices.Parents and guardians, we want to extend an invitation to you to be a part of your child’s education atOur Mother of Mercy. I read once that there are many predictors of a child’s success; but, the chiefpredictor regarding their performance, their motivation, their health, and their productivity is theirperception of their parents’ image of them. This is not necessarily what you as a parent reallybelieves; but rather, their perception of what you believe about them. In their search of self-discovery and their purpose on earth, your children look to you for help with this endeavor whetherthey know it or not. There are so many things expected of your children and of you; and, I realize thatfact. However, our children are our most precious gifts and it is our duty and responsibility to do allthat we can to help them feel good about themselves and their place in the world. It is ourresponsibility to insure that our children are disciplined individuals that can face and accept what evercomes their way without excuses. And, we must develop persons who are inner-directed and capableof making decisions based on the teaching of Jesus Christ.It is a wonderful time to rear children? A time where you can use all of your knowledge, skills,spiritualness, love, care, forgiving spirit, etc... The list is endless when you are parenting, teaching,and disciplining. Again, we are committed at Our Mother of Mercy School to provide your child withthe best academic and spiritual education. However, remember we are all in this together; we are ateam. I am looking forward to meeting and working with each of you this school year.
